Virginia Local Disability Program (VLDP)
If you are a political subdivision or school division employee covered under the Hybrid Retirement Plan, you are enrolled automatically in the Virginia Local Disability Program or a comparable program provided by your employer.
Virginia Sickness & Disability Program (VSDP)
If you are a state employee in VRS Plan 1, VRS Plan 2 or the Hybrid Retirement Plan, the State Police Officers’ Retirement System (SPORS) or the Virginia Law Officers’ Retirement System (VaLORS), you are enrolled automatically in the Virginia Sickness and Disability Program (VSDP) upon employment.

Note: State employees (including opt-ins) in the Hybrid Retirement Plan will be covered under the Virginia Sickness and Disability Program (VSDP).
